おおた国際交流センター（通称：Minto Ota）がオープン！
施設内には、区内在住の外国人の方などが多言語で生活相談を行うことができる「多言語相談窓口」や、国際交流団体が日本語教室などで使用できる「会議室」、さまざまな国・地域の情報を掲示し、利用者同士の交流スペースとなる「情報・交流コーナー」があります。
また、一般財団法人国際都市おおた協会と国際都市・多文化共生推進課の機能も施設内に集約しています。
The Ota International Exchange Centre (also known as “Minto Ota”) was established on April 11, 2022, to promote international and multicultural exchange in an integrated manner.
The facility has a Multilingual Consultation Desk, where foreign residents and such can seek advice on daily life in multiple languages, meeting rooms that can be reserved and used by international organisations for activities such as Japanese language classes, etc., and an Information and Exchange Corner, which has information on various countries and regions, and provides a space for users to interact with each other.
The offices for the Global City Ota Cooperation Association and the Internationalisation and Multiculturalism Promotion Section are also inside the facility. With this facility as a base, we hope to enhance international exchange and multiculturalism even more than before and promote Ota as “a city where diverse cultures are shared, and everyone can flourish”.
愛称の「Minto Otaみんと おおた」は、「（世界中の）みんなと（一緒に）」という願いとMulticultural and International Network, Together in Otaの英語を合わせて「大田区で一緒に、多文化国際ネットワーク」という意味が込められています。
「多様な文化を分かち合い、だれもが活躍できるまち」を推進しています！
“Minto Ota” blends together the Japanese words “sekai no minna” (everyone from around the world) and “to issho ni” (together); and the English words “Multicultural and International Network, Together in Ota”, made from the individual letters of the word M.I.N.T.O. Both meanings together express the goal for the center to become a place where everyone, regardless of nationality or culture, can come together.
